Female Senators Introduce Pro-Choice Bill To ‘Fight Back Against Those Who Missed The Mad Men Era’

On Thursday saw three female senators introducing a legislation that seeks to safeguard women’s health services access as some members in Congress seek to turn back the clock.

The new “21ST Century Women’s Health Act”, which has been sponsored by Senator Patty Murray, Senator Barbara Boxer and Barbara Mikulski, has been brought so as to build on the progress that has been made under the affordable health care act by ensuring that every woman in America has maternity coverage as well as any tools that they will require in a rape crisis and family planning services.

When it comes to women’s reproductive health, Obamacare has taken critical steps forward in ensuring that women have access to affordable gender base services across the country, but on the other hand women’s right to be able to make any decisions when it comes to their own health care have been compromised by relentless legislative attacks which are coming from both federal and state levels, Murray told reporters.

“We absolutely can’t get complacent about the gains we’ve made so far,” Murray said.

“As we continue to fight back against those who miss the Mad Men era, the 21st Century Women’s Health Act lays out important ways we can and should move forward on women’s health.”

Under the new legislation that is being proposed by Murray, rape survivors will be provided with emergency contraception by their states. In addition to that there will be a review on the harmful effects of the anti-abortion law which limits the access to clinics. The legislation also seeks to ensure that women’s health under Obamacare are strengthened by appointing a new ombudsperson role that will look into it that the provisions have been implemented.
