We’ve been there and done that. Almost everybody has smoked at least once. While few smoke for a change or for status, some others are chronic smokers. Besides this, everyone now knows the effects smoking has on our health. Consumption of tobacco and smoking cigarettes have always degraded an individual’s health. It does not adds to health in any way.
What most people fail to understand is that due to smoking, every organ of our body gets harmed. It is not just our lungs, but our entire body gets heavily affected by it. Cigarette smoking puts us at a greater risk of cancer. It is also responsible for asthmatic problems, cataracts, cancer, stroke, heart attack and a lot more.
Moreover, with smoking we age faster than we normally should. If a pregnant woman smokes, she is also putting her unborn baby into danger of SIDS, which is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. However, smoking is not only problematic for people who smoke, it is equally dangerous for passive smokers, who somehow smoke secondhand from the environment.
