When a substance is burned and its smoke is inhale in breath this process is called ‘smoking’. It is not a healthy activity yet famous across the world. The most common type of smoking is inhaling smoke of dried tobacco in a form of small cylinder.

Most of countries give it name of recreational drug use! For obvious as the name indicate it is use in fun, in leisure times and in extreme cases when a person is going through mental trauma. In some cultures smoking is also practiced as a part of rituals which according to beliefs lead to spiritual enlightenment.

Active ingredient in all types of smoking is nicotine, it is a pharmacologically active algoid that is absorbed into blood stream rapidly.

People who take it as a fun part are well aware of its results, ultimate health hazards are directly associated to smoking practiced, first damaging the lungs, at extreme conditions causing various cancer. Secondhand smoke can result in asthma and breathing problems.
Other than the people who take it as ritual obligatory many people try to quit smoking that is possible through support groups, nicotine replacement therapy with some medical therapies.
